Last Minute V-Day Outfit

It’s valentines day the day of LOVE <3
Not sure on what to wear on valentines day? heres a few ideas..

Wear something cute, you want to be cute not slutty.. yes you are trying to impress your significant other but don’t wear clothes that show too much cleavage or is too short.. You don’t want them staring at your boobs the whole day or night and not listening or paying attention to you. Remember its all about personality and spending quality time with your other half..not how slutty you dress

.

If you’re going on a picnic, movie or something not as formal wear clothes that are casual but not too casual. Wear Flats instead of sneakers, Nice pretty top with pants or shorts or a cute playsuit etc.. You may want to stay away from heels & dresses as if you’re walking a lot.. you don’t want to be taking off you’re shoes as thats not attractive at all so stick with flats on a casual date also if you’re going on a picnic or somewhere that you’re sitting on the ground/windy etc.. stay away from dresses as you don’t want to flash them or feel uncomfortable.

 

Going on a more formal date like to a restaurant or somewhere fancy then op for something more formal eg. Heels, Dresses, Blazers etc..

 

Most importantly wear clothes that you feel comfortable in and have fun :)

Valentines Day: Food Food Food <3

I love food especially when so much thought has been put into making it, so why not make your loved one a romantic breakfast, lunch or dinner (Yes anyone can do this even guys).  

• To do this find out what their favourite food or recipe is and make it for them or buy it but trust me you’ll get bonus points if you make it from scratch as your loved one will love how much effort you put into it (: 

 

• decorate decorate decorate the food by making whatever it is into a heart shape and yes you can do this with mains not just dessert, I made this chickpea curry and rice into a heart shape also or if not present the food well. Don’t just slap the food onto a plate, think about colours, plates (shape), cutlery, serviettes, decorations for the table or how ever your going to serve it. This meal is important as you are making it for a loved one and you want them to feel like you put effort into it. Take a look below at what I did (:

 

• Set the scene e.g.. decorate the room with candles, fairy lights, flowers, petals, dim the lights, put romantic/soft music on or your loved ones fav music and have it playing quietly in the background.

Quick & Easy Healthy Dinner Recipe.

Sausages with Tomato Sugo & Pasta Recipe (Serves 4)

Ingredients

2 Tbsp Olive oil

6 sausages (can be any flavour i used chipolatas sausages), chopped

1 onion, finely chopped

2 Red Capsicum, cored, seeded and sliced

1 Yellow Capsicum, cored, seeded and sliced

Salt

Pepper

400g diced tomatos in juice

400g Penne Pasta, boiled with a pinch of salt

Served with cheese

Method:

1. Heat oil in a large frying pan over moderate heat. Add the sausages, onion & capsicums. Fry Briskly, browning slowly for about 15 minutes until sausages are cooked and the vegetables are soft.

2. Add the tomatoes and mix well. Simmer for 4 minutes, taste and season. (if to plain.. try adding some chilli sauce or garlic.. up to your tasting)

3. Toss the mixture with the hot penne and serve sprinkled with pasta and plenty of cheese :D

and your done and ready to eat!

Who said dreams are just dreams and can’t become a reality? If you believe in what you dream it could possibly come true if you put in the hard work then YES it can but if you’re a downer and not positive about what you dream then of course your dream will not come true. The best part about dreams is it does not cost what so ever, its FREE!! yes free so dream as much as you want and if you believe in it, it will come true and just like mr walt disney says if you dream it, you CAN do it!! he is so right :D

as i lay my head down to sleep I shall think positive thoughts and make my dreams into a reality one day and when they do become a reality that is when i shall share to you all what my dreams are, so for now keep dreaming, do not give up and keep believing!.

10 ways to overcome heat at night

As it is summer here in New Zealand,

last night it was soo hot that i could not sleep, yes i had windows open and was lying on top of the bed but it was still really hot that i could not sleep.

so i googled some ways to help you sleep when its really hot and I thought i would share them with you (:

1. Get a wet cold cloth and wipe your whole body with it. (tried this and it was so hot that the water evaporated so fast that i couldn’t get to sleep as it got hot again).

2. Sleep in a damp t-shirt (um won’t i get sick?)

3. Sleep nude (this could be awkward if my parents or brother walks in)

4. Take a cool shower or bath and don’t fully dry yourself then get into your bed

5. Chill your pillowcase. Put your sheets,blanket,and pillowcases into freezer bags and put in the freezer all day. This may also help you fall asleep faster, further reducing your exposure to the uncomfortable heat. (I shall try this next time).

6. Wear cold socks (gross it would feel weird.. but never know it could work)

7. Have a fan blowing on you (unfortunately I don’t own a fan :(.. maybe i should invest in one)

8. Avoid drinking caffeine or alcohol at night as it makes you sleep but than wakes you up later on in the night.

9. Have thin cotton sheets rather than nylon bedding. They will absorb sweat rather than leave the sleeper covered in a film of moisture.

10. If none of these work try having naps during the day so you won’t be so tired when you find yourself struggling to sleep on a hot night (:

Just a touch of ink

At the moment i’m loving small tattoos yet I have no tattoos of my own as i’m afraid of needles. Needless to say one day I may get a small tat. Small tattoos are cute and can have so much meaning and they look so feminine.

To be honest i’ve never been a fan of tattoos as they are permanent and can look so tacky but just with the right touch they can look really classy and not so tacky, that is why i love small tattoos as they are not so overwhelming and put in the right places they can be a fashion statement. “Yes” i said it “a fashion statement” that is not to say that you go down to a tattoo parlour and get a tonne of small tattoos as that would be over the top! but to choose them carefully and hopefully choose ones that have meaning to YOU not to anyone else but YOU as you have to have it for the rest of your life :O. Another reason why i’m a bit iffy of getting a tattoo as when I get older i might get fat and wrinkly and then the tattoo will look absolutely horrible as it would have stretched. Hopefully one day i will overcome my fears and get a small meaningful tattoo but in the mean time heres are a few pics to inspire you too :)

 

My best friend really wants to get this tattoo with me and yes we have been best friends since we were little kids so not just a best friend of a year or two but much longer of intact nearly 15 years of my life and I’m 18, I love this as it would have so much meaning but I’m still a bit iffy and need to overcome my fears.

The perfect guy

We all want the “perfect” guy who can dress good and not like a slob..

but truth is not all guys have a sense of fashion and thats what makes them perfect,

We (girlies) love the fact that even though we don’t have the “perfect” guy (in fashion sense) but we have the perfect guy who can treat us like a princess and not like we’re a piece of meat and thats what attracts us to them, their personality its not all about their looks because they could have the looks but be a total jerk and thats not attractive at all. 

what i’m trying to get out of this is the “perfect guy” can come in all different ways, not just looks but bonus if you have both (; we girls deserve to be treated like a princess and not something on the side.
